Minutes of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association Meeting

The regular meeting of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association was conducted on this 15th of July, 2023. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Brown, with members present of homeowners in presence.

Following call to order, the transcripts from the previous meeting were considered and accepted with no amendments.

  • Mr. Davis, gave a summarized financial overview outlining the current status of the homeowner association's funds.
  • Multiple homeowners raised concerns regarding ongoing developments in the neighborhood, specifically the proposed playground construction and parking regulations.
  • Association members addressed the homeowner's concerns, providing clarifications about the projects.

Concluding the dialogue, the meeting was adjourned. The next HOA meeting is scheduled for November, at a later date.

Considered Amendments to Sherwood Lakes Covenants

The Homeowners Association is at this time reviewing several proposed amendments to the existing covenants for Sherwood Lakes. These proposed changes are designed to strengthen the value of life for all residents while tackling ongoing concerns and facilitating a thriving community.

  • Among the proposed amendments are standards related to exterior aesthetics, noise ordinances, and vehicle placement.
  • The HOA encourages all residents to peruse the proposed amendments carefully and submit their feedback by September 1st.
  • A public forum will be arranged on July 20th to discuss the proposed amendments in greater detail.

More information regarding the proposed amendments can be obtained on the HOA's digital portal. Residents are urged to contribute in this important process.

Sherwood Lakes Garden Initiative

Our passionate community members are coming together to make Sherwood Lakes a more vibrant place to live. The Beautification Project aims to transform the visual appeal of our community by adding trees, cleaning up public spaces, and encouraging a sense of ownership.

We're currently working on various projects, including the revitalization of our lakefront area. We invite more info you to contribute in making Sherwood Lakes a truly desirable place to call home.

HOA Board Election Information - Sherwood Lakes

Greetings residents of Sherwood Lakes! The annual election for the Homeowner’s Association (HOA) board is happening soon. This year, we encourage all homeowners to get involved in shaping the future of our community by casting their vote.

The election will be held on Monday, October 16th, with voting taking place from noon to 8:00 PM at the Sherwood Lakes Community Center.

A list of those vying for positions and their platforms will be made available on the HOA website and posted throughout the community by October 15th. For any questions or concerns regarding the election process, please contact the HOA board directly. We look forward to a successful and inclusive election!

Neighborhood Watch Program for Sherwood Lakes Residents

Enhance the safety and security of our vibrant community with a dedicated Neighborhood Watch program. Via unitedly participating, residents can help deter crime, watch over one another's homes, and foster a more secure sense of community. Meetings will be held regularly to share information.
